Metro Exodus (Release Date: Feb. 15)

Metro Exodus, PC, System Requirements, RTX

Whereas past Metro titles sought to leave players feeling isolated and trapped in post-apocalyptic subway tunnels, Metro Exodus is instead set to let them out into the remains of a destroyed world.

Once thought to be poisonous and untraversable, it is discovered by series protagonist Artyom that the surface is actually inhabitable.

As a result, he and his Spartan Ranger allies must venture out into the world to see what hopes and horrors lie waiting for humanity, and whether there may be a chance for life on the surface once again.

As the premise suggests, the game offers a much more open world than past entries.

While it still contains tense and confined sections set in the underground metros of Moscow, there are also sections which set players free in a massive world full of wonder and danger alike.

It’s a bold new step for the series to take, but also one that is sure to turn some heads upon its release.
