Crackdown 3 (Release Date: Feb. 15)

crackdown 3, xbox one x

The development process for Crackdown 3 has been anything but ideal, but that only makes it that much better to see it finally on the horizon.

Letting players loose in the city of New Providence, the game offers a design style similar to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

If they want to carefully dismantle all of the city’s gangs one at a time, players can do that; or, if they’d like to stage a violent blitz on the game’s final location from the get-go, they can do that too.

It’s all left open for the player to decide, and with a Nemesis System-esque feature where gangs target you the more you target them, the player’s choices can have lasting effects on their overall experience.

Even if it’s not to be the messiah of Xbox One gaming its long development cycle would lead some to believe, the title still shows promise as a game most anyone should check out if they have the chance.
