How to Get Silica & What it’s Used for in Assassin’s Creed Origins

Recommended Videos

The world of Ancient Egypt in Assassin’s Creed Origins is teeming with things to see, places to go, and materials to pick up. One of the materials you’ll accumulate small quantities of on your adventure is silica. Silica may not seem like it’s all that important in Assassin’s Creed Origins, but you’ll want to make sure you’re saving every scrap of it that you can find.

That’s because you’ll need 50 Silica to get your hands on the secrets of the Sphinx. Once you’ve interacted with all stone circles in the game, you’ll be able to watch a cutscene in the hidden room of the Sphinx. You’ll then need to use the 50 Silica in order to unlock the giant vault. Hand it over and you’ll get your hands on some seriously badass Isu armor.

As such, you’re probably wondering where you can get Silica in Assassin’s Creed Origins. Each and every tomb you come across in the game will likely have a small quantity of this stuff lying around. Make sure you’re smashing all breakable objects and looting everything in sight as you make your way through these tombs. Each one tends to have about five pieces of the stuff, so as long as you’re thorough, you shouldn’t have too many problems getting the 50 you need.
