With Assassin’s Creed Origins, the series returns with a number of new bells and whistles. One of which is a more in-depth ability system, allowing you invest ability points to unlock a bunch of new handy skills and improvements to Bayek’s arsenal. Here’s how to get ability points in Assassin’s Creed Origins.

Ability points are naturally earned each time you level up in the game. This can seem a bit problematic, however, as leveling up can take a little longer in Assassin’s Creed Origins than in other RPGs. As such, we recommend exploring every little area you uncover and to complete side quests to help you level up and unlock these handy abilities faster.

If the points you get from leveling up aren’t enough for you, we advise seeking out tombs. Each and every time you find the ancient tablet tucked inside one of Assassin’s Creed Origins’ many tombs, you’ll gain another ability point. Simply follow the main objective inside tombs and you’ll be on your way to more easy ability points.
