PS4 Game Releases for May 2018

Recommended Videos

April was a pretty slow month for the PS4, outside of the huge releases of Yakuza 6: The Song of Life and God of War. May looks to be much the same way, with a number of smaller games and indie releases, highlighted by a couple AAA titles.

The start of the month sees City of Brass, describes as a “first-person Arabian Nights adventure” from former BioShock developers. That first week also sees the release of the open world survival game Conan Exiles, and the new narrative adventure title from Fullbright, Tacoma.

The second week brings another wave of smaller titles with the beautifully enhanced Dragon’s Crown Pro, a classic title from Vanillaware. Then on May 15 two anime-inspired games release with Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time, based on the charming Netflix anime, and the very Ghibli-esque platformer Forgotton Anne.

The end of the month, on May 25, is when the show really arrives for PS4 owners as the next big exclusive, Detroit: Become Human, releases. The newest title from Quantic Dream, makers of Heavy Rain, rotates around a trio of android protagonists. Like past games from the developer, there’s a heavy emphasis on player choice, and tons of different outcomes to each situation.
