June 2018 PS4 VIDEO GAME RELEASES

Another month passes, and a new batch of PS4 games are on the way. June continues the trend of the last few months, having a couple of big releases with a bunch of smaller ones scattered about. However, for the most part it’s a fairly slow month. Things start out strongly enough with the introduction of Vampyr on June 5, a new horror-themed action game from Dontnod, the developers behind Life is Strange. Players will control Jonathan E. Reid, a doctor living in 1918 London during the outbreak of the Spanish Flu, who one night is turned into a vampire.

June 5 sees something for everyone too as we also get the likes of BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle, Nobunaga’s Ambition: Taishi, Onrush, and more. Fast forward one week and we see a brand new dinosaur management sim in Jurassic Park Evolution, just in time for the film. Also in the same vein of licensed games comes LEGO The Incredibles, coinciding with the release of The Incredibles 2 in theaters.

Finally, the month gets capped off in the last couple of weeks with New Gundam Breaker, a game that allows players to build and customize their own Gunpla that they take into battle, and the sequel to Ubisoft’s ambitious racing title, The Crew 2. June may not be the busiest month for PlayStation owners, but there’s certainly a variety at least, and given it’s E3 month, it’s to be expected. The full list of releases is below.
