Heists and Robberies

Heists are one of the very best things about GTA Online and part of what makes it so unique. Heists are elaborate missions in GTA Online that require multiple setup missions before taking on one big heist, with lots of rewards for completing it. Of course, there’s usually some kind of small story or narrative attached to these as well.

The world and setup of Red Dead Redemption 2 make it perfect for Rockstar to expand the heist system even more. Imagine taking on a massive train heist with your friends, or robbing a federal bank, or maybe even taking down a Pinkerton headquarters. The heists in GTA Online generally assign a specific role to each player, like driver or gunner. This is something that could still work for Red Dead Online, putting a player in charge of looting and gathering money, while another holds off lawmen, or intimidates witnesses.

There are so many options that Red Dead Online could open up, and taking down epic heists in the Old West with your friends sounds like a fantastic time.
