Multiplayer games like Fortnite and Call of Duty are all the rage in the modern gaming industry, and Red Dead Redemption 2 is about to plunge back into those waters when it reintroduces Red Dead Online at the end of November. The game has already smashed records left and right, and now Red Dead Redemption 2 is going to get even bigger. In order to really stay relevant, however, Red Dead Online is going to need a few special qualities.
Things Red Dead Online Needs to Shut Up Fortnite
Lots of Character Customization
It almost goes without saying these days that any kind of online game needs a healthy amount of customization to help make each player’s experience unique. Considering how many options there are in the main game of Red Dead Redemption 2, you’d expect no less.
With the opportunity to create your very own cowboy you want tons of options, right down to the spurs on their shoes and patterns on their shirts. With how phenomenal Red Dead Redemption 2’s graphical engine is, hopefully, Red Dead Online can provide a robust character creator. Get right down to the nitty-gritty and let players adjust their facial hair, eye size, weight, all that good stuff. It’d also be great to have options for male and female characters.
Customizing guns would be particularly fun in Red Dead Online, and maybe you could even engrave it with your own custom emblem or sigil. If GTA Online was any indication, we’d also want to see a wealth of new outfits, weapons, accessories, and more added in future updates.
