COD Modern Warfare 2019, E3, confirmed

COD looks to be returning to its roots (again). Not its WWII roots specifically, but its grittier, darker portrayal of conflict that doesn’t hide the horrors of war behind an action movie facade.

Modern Warfare will be a return to the franchise’s most lauded sub-series, but won’t be a direct sequel to MW3. Three big takeaways from Thursday’s unveiling of the game are: 1. single-player is back, 2. the season pass is gone, and 3. the release date is set for October 25.

You can read more about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s announcement here, and you can expect more details to come from E3.
