The Sims 4: How to Do the Black Widow Challenge

How to Make Money

Recommended Videos

In this challenge your black widow Sim is not allowed to have a job but it turns out this black widow is also one heck of a gold digger. Instead of giving your Sim a job or using cheats for money, you are only allowed to use the money brought into the home by your spouse. This means you’ll probably want to keep an eye out for wealthy Sims and Sims that are already employed. If you marry a Sim that doesn’t have a job, that Sim is not allowed to get a job after moving in. If a Sim already has a job before you marry them, however, they will be allowed to keep that job so you can profit off their hard work.

You are also allowed to make money at home as long as your Sim is not leaving to go to a job every day. So if you want to bring in some extra cash through gardening, fishing, woodworking or other similar tasks, you are more than welcome to do so. If you want to make money by gardening, however, the rule is that you can only have plants inside of planters and you can not have more planters than you do dead spouses.
