October 20 – Guitar Hero Live (PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Wii U)
Activision and Guitar Hero Live are here to ask the world: Is it OK to make music games again yet? I thought it was rather dull and didn’t bring enough new stuff to warrant a new one, while Senior Writer Ian Lepkowski loved it. We’ll find out in week three of October 2015!
October 20 – Just Dance 2016 (PS4, PS3, Xbox One, 360, Wii U, Wii)
It’s Barack Obama’s favorite game (probably anyway). Could a franchise get any more of a ringing endorsement? I wonder if Barack Obama and his family approve of the annualization of the Just Dance franchise though? These are the issues our 2016 candidates should be tackling.
October 20 – Tales of Zestiria (PS4, PS3, PC)
Tales of Zestiria goes back to the roots of the Tales series in honor of its 20th anniversary. The LMBS battle system is back alongside a new open world map.
October 23 – Assassin’s Creed Syndicate (PS4, Xbox One)
One of the big dogs towards the end of October is Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. AC is a very hot and cold series and last year’s entry, Assassin’s Creed Unity left a bad taste in the mouths of many, including myself who never played an AC game and was looking forward to one set during my favorite period of history. Hopefully for AC fans, Syndicate will right the ship.
October 23 – The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes (3DS)
The portable Legend of Zelda games are often overshadowed by their console big brothers but they shouldn’t be. Nintendo has done an excellent job delivering great Zelda games to their portables and if I was a betting man (and I am), I would wager that Tri Force Heroes is going to be pretty fun.
