Is Gran Turismo Sport Coming to PC?

Recommended Videos

While Gran Turismo Sport is still awaiting a confirmed release date, the closed beta is currently underway on PS4. With the game set to release sometime this year on Sony’s system, players will be wondering if there’s any chance we’ll see the racing sim release on PC.

Unfortunately, it looks like if you want to get behind the wheel on your PC, you’ll need to look elsewhere. Polyphony Digital, the team behind the Gran Turismo series is a first-party studio for Sony. As such, their games are exclusive to Sony’s system, and as such won’t be releasing on the PC.

This is also confirmed by the cover art on the game’s official page which states it is “Only On PlayStation.”

Though this is certainly disappointing, take some comfort in the fact that there are plenty of great racing sims available on the PC. Both Forza Motorsport 6 and Forza Horizon 3 offer excellent racing experiences, though, if you’re looking for more of a realistic simulation, you’ll want to check out the former.

If you’re looking to jump back into the series with Gran Turismo Sport, you may want to look into picking up a PS4.
