Romance, Love, & Marriage in Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen
Affinity and Your Beloved
Romance revolves around a little something called Affinity. It’s basically how much a person likes you, and you’ll need to make sure its high in order to properly romance someone. Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen will choose one of the individuals you’ve been courting as your Beloved towards the end of the game. That person will be tied to the Arisen (you) and will be your partner in life due to some Dragon magic mumbo-jumbo.
In order to end up with the person you want you’ll have to raise their Affinity as high as possible. There is one thing you should keep in mind though. If you have multiple NPCs with max Affinity the game will pick the last person you spoke to.
It will take some work, but you will be able to have whoever you want as your Beloved. Doesn’t matter what size, gender, or color, you can love them all.
