The Forest Mods

As a lone survivor of a deadly plane crash, you wake up stranded on what seems to be an abandoned forest. As if that wasn’t bad enough, you soon come across the local residents, who turn out to be mutated cannibalistic creatures that are out to eat you. The Forest thrives on freedom and leaves players to their own devices once the game starts. You won’t have to worry about long tutorials since there aren’t many, so you’ll have to think on your feet along the way.

The forest is filled with all sorts of materials that you can collect and tinker with, from making weapons or crafting an item necessary for your escape. You’ll always have to be prepared because you never know what might be lurking in the shadows after all. As you make your way through the game, you can pick up bits of lore which, if pieced together, explain just what went wrong in the mysterious forest. And if you’re scared of playing horror games alone, you can always play with another friend.
