The Batman Streaming and TV Premiere Dates Announced

The Batman Streaming and TV Premiere Dates Announced

Good news for fans who are itching to watch The Batman again or for the first time, the newest film featuring the Caped Crusader is set to hit HBO Max for streaming on Monday, April 18. For those who would prefer to catch the movie on HBO, you can look forward to it airing on Saturday, April 23 at 8 AM ET, as reported by Deadline.

The official Twitter account for the movie tweeted this out not long ago further confirming it. The Tweet reads:

Vengeance is coming. In just one week, stream #TheBatman on HBO Max and own it on Digital. http://thebatman.com

So it seems those who might not have access to HBO Max will still be able to watch the movie when it goes up for sale in VOD (video on demand). No word currently on what services will have it up for purchase.

The Matt Reeves directed Batman film is summarized by IMDb as:

When the Riddler, a sadistic serial killer, begins murdering key political figures in Gotham, Batman is forced to investigate the city’s hidden corruption and question his family’s involvement.

While it isn’t recommended to watch at this moment, we reported on a deleted scene that was released for The Batman late last month. Again, it is probably safer to wait until you have seen the movie as that will most likely spoil something for you.

For fans of the movie who fell in love with the art to it, there was a book available to pre-order in February that will offer you more of the same gritty Gotham.
