Black Mirror’s fourth season has finally hit Netflix, bringing another fairly bleak anthology of cautionary tales regarding the future of technology. The show’s latest season includes an episode called Crocodile, which follows a woman struggling to come to terms with something that happened in her past, before getting tangled up in another investigation. While the story was certainly gripping, many viewers have been wondering exactly what location Crocodile was filmed at.

According to the Independent, Black Mirror’s producer, Annabel Jones, revealed that the episode is actually set in Iceland. “Crocodile is a beautiful, more personal study. It’s set in Iceland which introduced a totally new palette – one of the privileges of doing Black Mirror is the opportunity to create different worlds and moods and tones.”

That’ll explain the stunning, snowy backdrop that you likely caught glimpses of as the drama unfolded. The episode was filmed in February, too, which only helped to make its snowy landscapes look even more bold and dramatic.

That’s all you need to know regarding the filming location of Black Mirror season four’s Crocodile episode. For more on the show’s latest season, be sure to search for Twinfinite.
