Here’s the translated quote, courtesy of Gematsu:

‘Speaking during the Monster Hunter Stories stage event, producer Ryozo Tsujimoto said, “While it isn’t related to Stories, there is a Hollywood movie adaptation of the main series in progress.”’

Monster Hunter Stories is the latest entry in the series, and it’s designed to be more story-focused than previous installments. It’s interesting to see the series get a movie adaptation, and it should be fun to see what Hollywood can do with the IP. Tsujimoto didn’t reveal any further details about the project during the event, but we’ll keep you updated as more information comes our way. What are your thoughts on this new project announcement?
