Marvel has just shared our second look into the Captain Marvel universe, which is slated to air early next year. The short shows a deeper look into Carol Danvers and the mysteries surrounding her origins.
Oh, and remember that old woman Carol punched in the first trailer? She apparently knows how to kick some major ass, as she takes on Captain Marvel in the subway. Turns out that she was a Skrull, which is some sort of alien race we’ll get to learn more about in the movie.
Moreover, we also get to see a better look of Captain Marvel’s shiny new outfit and the powerful abilities she wields in combat. There’s some intergalactic mojo going on at the end of the trailer, with Carol Danvers shooting things ala Marvel style in outer space.
Overall, the trailer does a great job setting up the hype for the next big Marvel movie. Of course, everyone can’t wait to find out what happens next in the upcoming Avengers 4 movie, which is slated to release after Captain Marvel in 2019. Spider-Man’s also getting some love next year once Far From Home launches on July.
