First of all, we get to see a video of the character creation shared on Twitter, mostly focusing on body customization. There are sliders for height and thickness, and females also have a chest slider.

There are also plenty of other options, but we don’t see them in action just yet.

More screenshots have also been shared, both on Twitter and on the official website. Interestingly, we hear that the characters can have display expressions during gameplay. This certainly enhances the anime-like feel of the game. You can check those out at the bottom of the post.

Blue Protocol is an online JRPG in development for PC by a team named Project Blue Sky, which is a joint initiative of Bandai Namco Online and Bandai Namco Studios. It was announced just recently and fully revealed yesterday.

At the moment it’s approaching a closed alpha test exclusive to Japan, but the original announcement mentioned that the game aims to impress the world, so a western launch is quite likely.

Hopefully, Bandai Namco Entertainment will say something soon. For the moment, all we can do is to wait and to marvel at the new images.
