Katsura Hashino (best known as the director of Persona 5) and currently working on the mysterious Project Re Fantasy, explained that he’d like to reveal the game he’s been laboring on as soon as possible, encouraging fans to look forward to the fantasy JRPG by the team who has been making games in modern settings until now. Do keep in mind that he did not promise that said reveal will come in 2021

Persona 5 Royal director Kazuhisa Wada mentioned that a project is progressing quietly behind the scenes. Atlus is also thinking of ways to share the excitement during the 25th anniversary of the Persona series in 2021, so fans should look forward to that.

Shinjiro Takada, producer of Shin Megami Tensei V, explained that the game is being developed diligently with the goal of making it a better game. While we’ll still have to wait a while (the game has a 2021 release window at the moment), he hopes fans will look forward to it.

It’ll be interesting to see what the future holds for Atlus fans. In the meanwhile, those living in the west will finally be able to play Persona 5 Strikers on PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC in February.
