Despite a number of delays, twists, and turns, everything seems to be smooth sailing once again for the upcoming Han Solo stand alone film. Ron Howard, who is now directing the Star Wars film focusing on everyone’s favorite scruffy scoundrel, took to social media sharing a picture of him and Donald Glover with the confirmation that he has wrapped all of his scenes as Lando Calrissian.
Wildly impressive @donaldglover wrapped his work on #UntitledHanSoloMovie last night. We're all gonna miss you Donald! pic.twitter.com/04uZIjG0DZ

The Han Solo movie as a whole, however, is still filming with no current announcements as to how much is left to go, but September was slated to be the end of production so that the project could shift into the arena of post production. And, at the time of writing this article, September is less than a week away. Without any news of further delays or a change in plans, the cast and crew may be right on time to meet the goal of wrapping up the movie as a whole during the course of the upcoming month.
But while Star Wars fans wait for the Han Solo movie to fly into theaters, there hasn’t been much in the way of advertising for the film other than what Ron Howard has been doing himself through his Instagram. But, in all fairness, Lucasfilm and Disney have their sights set on the December release of The Last Jedi, the 8th film in the Star Wars series. But once the editors and audio teams are at work, it won’t be long until we can expect a trailer and a more solid look at this young Lando and Solo in action.
