How to Change Class in World War Z
There’s more depth to World War Z than simply picking a character and playing through the campaign. The game has several different classes that players can switch between, which alters the playstyle of a character by changing their weapons, perks, and equipment. Here’s how to change class in World War Z.
There are six different classes to choose from in World War Z: Gunslinger, Hellraiser, Medic, Fixer, Slasher, Exterminator. Each of these classes has different strengths and abilities, and you’ll want to choose carefully which type you main and get proficient with.
That said, you can actually switch between these classes between games. It’s not as if once you’ve chosen you’re stuck with that decision.
Before we explain how to change classes specifically, it’s worth pointing out that although you’ll have no doubt seen the different characters you can play through the game as, swapping between these does not change your class.
Any character can be played in any class, but by default they are all set to whichever option is selected in the class menu section.
Speaking of which, as you now might have guessed, you’ll need to find the actual class menu to change your class. This can be found by starting a new game in either offline or online and then once you’re taken to the next menu, cycle across to ‘customize.’ On PC this is done by using the mouse, while on consoles you’ll need to press either R1 (PS4) or the right bumper (Xbox One).
From here, scroll down to ‘Class’ and you’ll be taken to a menu of different classes to choose from. It’s here that you can select which one you’d like to play before starting a match.
That does it for how to change class in World War Z. For more useful information on the game, be sure to search Twinfinite.
