Tribes of Midgard: How to Get Wrought Iron, Cut Stone, Wooden Boards

Tribes of Midgard is a brand new co-op multiplayer action game from Norsfell and Gearbox Publishing. It allows players to venture out solo, or team up with nine other players to explore a fairly large world while also trying to defend their village from dangerous Helthings and Jotunns. If you want to strengthen your camp, you’ll need to invest some Souls and resources into fortifying its defenses. Here’s how to get Wrought Iron, Cut Stone, and Wooden Boards in Tribes of Midgard.

Getting Wrought Iron in Tribes of Midgard

Wrought Iron is one of the most expensive materials to get in the game, especially early on. However, it’s definitely recommended that you try to get as much of it so that you can build gates in your village to keep out the Helthings, and even build a quarry to supply your war chest with more minerals.

To get Wrought Iron, you need to upgrade your Tinker (located on the west side of the village) to level 3. This will require 750 Souls. Once you get him to level 3, you’ll then be able to craft Wrought Iron with 10 Iron and 7 Ore each. You can also convert Iron into Ore, though this means that you’ll need to farm for a lot of Iron while you’re out exploring.

Getting Cut Stone

Similar to Wrought Iron, you also need to get your Tinker to level 3 if you want to get your hands on some Cut Stone. Once you’ve done so, you can use 8 Stone and 6 Flint to craft one unit of Cut Stone.

Getting Wooden Boards

Finally, yes, Wooden Boards also require you to get the Tinker to level 3. However, Wooden Boards are much easier to obtain as there are trees everywhere in Tribes of Midgard, so you just need to chop them down to get all the wood you need.

With the Tinker at level 3, you need 6 pieces of Wood and 4 Branches to craft one Wooden Board.

One last thing to note is that as you’re out exploring the world, you’ll occasionally come across large wooden gates blocking your path. These can be destroyed with regular attacks, and will reward you with Wrought Iron, Cut Stone, and Wooden Boards, allowing you to cut down on grinding for resources.

That’s all you need to know about how to get Wrought Iron, Cut Stone, and Wooden Boards in Tribes of Midgard. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
