Tribes of Midgard is a brand new co-op multiplayer action game from Norsfell and Gearbox Publishing, set in viking-themed world where you can play solo or work with other players to protect your village from Helthings and giants. No matter how strong your squad is, though, a little more help never hurts anyone. Here’s how to upgrade NPCs in Tribes of Midgard.
Upgrading NPCs in Tribes of Midgard
Upgrading NPCs and leveling them up is extremely important, as not only does it unlock more items and weapons for you to craft, it also makes them stronger and more helpful in battle. Of course, leveling them up will cost you, but it’s definitely well worth the effort.
To upgrade an NPC and bring them to the next level, head over to them and press the LB or L1 button. This will allow you to spend Souls to increase their level. The cost will get increasingly higher as they level up, with the first upgrade costing 250 Souls, the second one costing 500 Souls, the third costing 1,000 Souls, and so on and so forth.
We definitely recommend trying to get all your NPCs up to at least level 2, as they will give them a better chance of surviving in a fight. In addition to that, getting your Blacksmith and Armorer to level 2 will also allow you to craft much stronger weapons and armor, which you’ll need anyway before fighting the Jotunns.
You should also try to upgrade your Tinker after that if you want to be able to craft some of the higher level materials to start building fortified gates for your village.
That’s all you need to know about how to upgrade NPCs in Tribes of Midgard. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
