Vikings are all the rage right now, and Tribes of Midgard is just the latest in the line of viking-themed video games we’ve got in the past year, and yeah, it’s a ton of fun. Players can tackle the game solo or with a tribe of fellow vikings to protect your village from the Giants and other terrifying enemies that invade at night. Here’s how to get Souls in Tribes of Midgard.
Souls are the primary currency you’ll be making use of in the game, and you need them for pretty much everything: upgrading weapons and armor, fortifying the village, upgrades, you name it.
Getting Souls in Tribes of Midgard
Thankfully, it’s also fairly easy to get Souls, as you’ll earn a bit of it for anything you do in the game. Killing enemies, mining, and foraging for materials in the open-world will reward you with Souls. Of course, less dangerous activites like foraging and mining won’t give you quite as much, but it all adds up over time.
You’ll be able to farm a ton of Souls by killing more deadly enemies that you encounter, as well as the bosses that try to attack your village. We definitely recommend foraging every single resource you see in the open-world as you can always use more materials to help upgrade your equipment and strengthen the village, and you’ll get richer in the process as well.
The most efficient way of getting Souls, however, is by clearing enemy camps you see on the map, and making sure to commune with the Stag whenever it descends. Enemy camps will reward you with a large amount of Souls whenever you take their treasure chests, though be warned that larger camps are much deadlier.
With enough Souls, you can then go back to the village and spend them on healing the main tree in the village center if needed, or use them for upgrades to make your character even stronger.
That’s all you need to know about how to get Souls in Tribes of Midgard. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
