Tribes of Midgard is a new co-op multiplayer game from Norsfell and Gearbox Publishing that allows players to team up together to explore a large world while gathering resources and defending their village from nightly Helthing invasions. There are tons of resources to scavenge in this world, and they’re all scattered across different biomes, which can make the game seem overwhelming at first. Here’s a breakdown of all the biomes and resources available in Tribes of Midgard.
All Biomes and Resources in Tribes of Midgard
At the time of writing, there are only five main biomes in the game, though this number could very well change with new content updates down the line. We’ve listed them all below, along with the various resources you can get in each one.
Bright Forest
This is the starting biome, and it provides you with everything you need to get started in Tribes of Midgard. Flint and sticks will let you craft your basic axes, and the enemies here aren’t too tough either.
- Butterbur Leaves
- Butterbur Roots
- Flint
- Grass
- Iron Ore
- Kingcup Nectar
- Maple Sap
- Moonstone
- Pine Cone
- Rowan Berries

Ash Beach – All Tribes of Midgard Biomes & Resources
The Ash Beach biomes are usually located at the coasts of the island, and are often blocked off by gates. The enemies here will drop Yarn, but we don’t recommend venturing in here until you’ve got a few pieces of the silver-crafted armor equipped.
- Aquamarine
- Flint
- Garnet
- Gold
- Mushroom Oil
- Seaweed
- Sticks
- Stone
Land of Pools
The Land of Pools is the biome you should look for immediately when you start the game. This is where you mine silver, and you can also kill the enemies here for small bones, which are required for crafting better armor.
- Eye of the Lingworm
- Flint
- Gleipnir Vines
- Grass
- Iron Ore
- Magnetite
- Mushroom Oil
- Silver
- Sticks
- Stone
Glacier Peaks – All Tribes of Midgard Biomes & Resources
Don’t enter this biome without a Coldproof Potion or the Seer’s Tempered ability, as you’ll freeze to death very quickly. This is one of the last biomes you’ll explore in Tribes of Midgard.
- Birch Water
- Bones
- Heart of Winter
- Iron Ore
- Mistletoe
- Moonstone
- Pine Cone
- Sapphire
- Silver
Smoky Highlands
Similar to the Glacier Peaks, don’t enter this biome without a Heatproof Potion or the Tempered ability. This is also one of the last biomes you’ll explore in the game, and it’s home to some of the tougher enemies around.
- Amethyst
- Garnet
- Bones
- Flint
- Gleipnir Vines
- Grass
- Iron Ore
- Magnetite
- Silver
- Sticks Stone
That’s all you need to know about all of the biomes and resources currently available in Tribes of Midgard. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
