After making its debut on the Wii U a few years back, Tokyo Mirage Sessions FE Encore has finally made its way to the Nintendo Switch. Because this is a JRPG, you’ll inevitably need to obtain new weapons to make your party stronger. And to do that, you need to acquire the specific materials and resources for it as well. Here’s how to farm Macca Converters in Tokyo Mirage Sessions FE Encore.
How to Farm Macca Converters in Tokyo Mirage Sessions FE Encore
Simply put, Macca Converters are a rare material required to craft some of the more advanced Carnage Unities that you can unlock later in the game. They can only be dropped by Rare or Savage enemies, which means that you’ll need to put in the work to get them.
However, since Rare and Savage spawns are pretty random, you’ll also need to rely on a bit of RNG to even begin farming them. The good news is, there is a spot in one dungeon that features a pretty high spawn rate for these tougher enemies, and you can unlock it very early on.
You’ll need to progress to chapter 2 of the main story and unlock the Idolasphere in Shibuya 106. In the dungeon, head up to the 6F warp pad, and go to 7F via the orange sleeves. You’ll usually find a Rare or Savage spawn right here, near the unbreakable wall.
We’ve included some screenshots down below, in case you get lost. So first, from the 6F warp pad, move forward to activate the rightmost switch for the orange sleeves to get it in position.
Then, head back towards the purple sleeves, and go through them to get down to 5F.
From here, head around the floor to find the orange sleeves entrance, and go through them to get up to 7F. This is where you’ll find the enemy spawns once you walk forward.
If it doesn’t spawn, just leave the dungeon and enter to try again. Alternatively, you can also save your game once you reach the seventh floor, then walk forward to spawn the enemy. If you don’t get a Rare or Savage spawn, reload your save and try again.
The goal here is to keep defeating the Rare or Savage enemies to get your Macca Converters. After that, just head back to the Bloom Palace to talk to Tiki to craft your new Carnage Unity.
