Collect All Those Cats
Although not a substory, one particularly cute side activity in Yakuza 6 involves befriending cats and bringing them to the Nyan Nyan Cat Cafe. Each cat needs to be fed food that you can buy at the cafe or a few other stores, and the key is finding which food each cat prefers. You get rewarded with a little bit of XP for each cat, but even better, you can head to the cafe and see them just hanging out, or even sit down and pet one. You can find the cats by simply wandering around Kamurocho and Onomichi and they’re pretty easy to spot, as you’ll hear them mewing quite loudly and a blue dot will appear on your map. However, they do appear at random so it might take a while to track every cat down.
We won’t spoil anything but if you collect them all there’s a pretty cute scene, and the cats can even give you items. It’s a collectable that’s both cute and rewarding, the best kind.
