Unfortunately, shotguns are clunky, don’t carry many rounds, and take forever to reload. Oh, and you can forget about hitting anything more than a couple of steps away from you. That’s unless you have the Le Fusil Terribles, of course.

This shotgun has a 32 round drum, can take off a head at the other end of the room, fires at a decent rate (even though it says its Fire Rate is only 20), and can eat through most enemies (though useless against heavily armored ones unless you get an armor piercing mod). It is hands down the best shotgun in Fallout 4 and easily one of the best Legendary weapons in the game.

To get your hands on this tool of death, you’ll just need to clear out the Libertalia point on the map. You can find it to the North East, it’s a small encampment on the water.
