Is Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Coming to Xbox One?
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate hasn’t even launched yet, and from what Nintendo has shown off from the upcoming title, it’s the biggest entry that the franchise has seen. Bringing back all of the characters from past entries, including new fighters to the roster like Simon Belmont, King K. Rool, and Ridley, and just the sheer content that this game features will make this one of the biggest fighting games in the history of fighting games and will be the crossover event of this generation.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is launching on the Nintendo Switch this holiday season, and as far as other platforms go, Nintendo has not announced anything about this latest entry releasing on any other consoles, including the Xbox One.
Considering that Super Smash Bros. is a first-party franchise for Nintendo that has only been available on past Nintendo consoles, there is probably no chance that this entry will be coming to the Xbox One. First-party games are usually only available on the console of their respective publishers. This is why we only see Halo and Gears of War on Microsoft consoles and other franchises such as Mario Kart and Pokemon on Nintendo consoles. It would be quite the phenomenon if a first-party Nintendo game winded up on PC, PlayStation, or Xbox. But, if Nintendo decides to change their mind and updates information on the release of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate for other consoles, like the Xbox One, then we will be sure to update this guide accordingly.
That’s all you need to know about Super Smash Bros. Ultimate coming to the Xbox One. For everything else related to Super Smash Bros., be sure to search for Twinfinite. Since we’re coming up on the release of the game on Dec 7, we’ll have tons of guides and info on the game right here.
