How to Attach Weapon Mods in State of Decay 2

Recommended Videos

Undead Labs’ zombie survival game, State of Decay 2, is out this week and sees you hunt for resources that will help you fend off the incoming attackers and keep your crew of survivors alive. As you head out to complete quests, you need to ensure that your arsenal of weapons is as good as can be, and mods are an important part of that. Here’s what you need to know about how you attach them.

To do so, head to the mod you want to equip in the inventory. Then, press X and both the mod and the weapon you currently have equipped (as long as the mod is compatible with that weapon) will turn orange. Then, press X and it will attach. You will need to change weapon if you have multiple weapons that a mod can be used with. If you want to detach it, press RT when you have the weapon selected in your inventory. A mod disappears from your inventory when you attach it, so you’ll need to have spare inventory space when detaching one.

That’s all you need to know about how you attach weapon mods in State of Decay 2. For more on the game, be sure to check out our extensive wiki guide.
