Upgrading your character through Star Cards is vital to succeeding in Star Wars Battlefront 2’s multiplayer modes. Star Cards are used to upgrade weapons and ships, as well as for customizing your character, and are gained through loot boxes that can be bought using real-world money or earned by playing the game. When opening a loot box, you may be given Crafting Parts (previously known as Scrap) as one of the things it contains, and they have their own uses.

Crafting Parts can be used to unlock Star Cards. Instead of hoping that you get a good one out of a loot box, you can use any crafting materials you have to buy one that you want or need. Also, as well as being able to get the consumable from loot boxes, you can get some from completing challenges by playing and accepting the rewards. Amassing a decent amount of Crafting Parts in Battlefront 2 is helpful when aiming to get new Star Cards to upgrade your character.

That is how you get Crafting Parts in Star Wars Battlefront 2 and what they are used for. For more on Star Wars Battlefront 2, be sure to check out our wiki.
