if you haven’t noticed by now, Star Trek Fleet Command is filled with all kinds of planets and systems just waiting to be explored. Each area has their own specific quests you can undertake for rewards and enemies to defeat.
Moreover, you can also find different mining nodes scattered around specific systems. Resources are scattered across each system, and you can make a note of where to get some of the more valuable resources as you reach new areas.
That said, you should also make it a point to upgrade your ships so you can travel to higher-leveled areas. Make sure to drop by your Shipyard to check if you can tweak your ship. In the same sense, also make sure to upgrade your facilities in the Star Base to unlock more features, such as stat boosters for your ship.
