How to Refill Ink in Splatoon 2
Think of ink as your ammo in Splatoon 2. Without it, you won’t be able to splatter it everywhere and defeat your enemies. As you fire your weapon on the ground and at your foes, your ink will gradually deplete. You can check how much ink you have by looking at the transparent canister on the inkling’s back. Once it’s empty, you won’t be able to fire, and you’ll have to refill it before you can continue.
To do this, you’ll need to transform into a squid and swim around the ink of your own color. Simply press and hold the ZL button, and you’ll become a squid with the ability to take cover in ink. However, do note that your canister will only refill if you’re in the ink of your own color. If you’re in the enemy’s ink, your canister won’t refill, and your movement and speed will be severely affected. Be careful about swimming when there are enemies nearby.
