Rainmaker/ Tower Control
Best Weapons for Every Mode in Splatoon 2
Rainmaker and Tower Control are the two other modes available in Splatoon 2’s Ranked Battles. The two modes are pretty similar to each other in that you have to escort an item/teammate into the enemy’s base. For Rainmaker, a teammate carries a powerful Rainmaker weapon to the base, while Tower Control has you ride a tall tower as you cross checkpoints on the patch to the enemy’s base. The Splat Charger is a very useful weapon here, but only if you’ve got good aim, and can use it reliably. The Charger allows you to snipe players on top of the tower, or players carrying the Rainmaker from afar. The Rainmaker is an extremely slow but dangerous weapon, so your best chance at taking it out is by sniping it from a distance.
The Tentatek Splattershot is useful because of its Inkjet Special, allowing you to safely ink a path for your teammates to the base. The N Zap is also a very reliable weapon because of its rate of fire and range, as well as the Ink Armor special that lets you last longer before you start taking damage.
