The Sims Mobile flips the script a lot after everything The Sims Freeplay did. Gone are those days. It’s time to welcome our new mobile overlords. One particularly interesting change is how stories can develop between relationships your sim has with others. However, can you change these halfway through? Let’s talk about that.

So, with the stories, you’re going to be choosing right from your first event with another sim what kind of relationship you both will have. There are various and they’ll be different depending on if you’re starting a friendly or romantic relationship. It will follow a pre-defined storyline with chapters and everything. And, unfortunately, you’re locked in when you have the one you chose. There’s no switching around the origins of that relationship or friendship. Once a rival, always a rival. Once a toxic boyfriend, always a douche.

But, nonetheless, it’s a very interesting way to add life to the random friends and significant others you’ll make during your playtime with this game.
