Complete the Challenge Tombs & Prepare for the DLC

Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Tomb Raider

One of the most enjoyable bits of side content dropped into Shadow of the Tomb Raider to supplement its main story arc are the various challenge tombs littered throughout the game’s semi-open world environments. These offer some classic tomb raiding, puzzle-solving action, with various environmental puzzles and more to overcome in order to clear them. Not only can you net yourself a couple trophies or achievements for clearing all of these challenge tombs in the main campaign, but you can also prepare yourself for the incoming, and inevitably more challenging DLC tombs in the process.

If you particularly enjoyed your time with Shadow of the Tomb Raider, an additional seven challenge tombs will release on a monthly basis as of October, although one of these will be exclusive to Season Pass owners. Still, if you’re clamoring for something a little more taxing on your brain and less taking down bad guys, the DLC challenge tombs are well worth looking out for.
