Where the Gun Fort Shrine Key Location Is in Sekiro
After beating Genichiro Ashina in Sekiro, the game opens up quite a bit, and you’ll have a few places to explore. Here’s where to get the Gun Fort Shrine Key, and where to use it in Sekiro.
Where to Get the Key
After beating Genichiro, go ahead and talk to Kuro, and he’ll tell you to speak with Isshin. Simply head out the window from Kuro’s room and follow the incense smoke to find Isshin.
Just in case you’re having trouble finding him, though, we have a video guide down below to help you out.
After speaking with Isshin, head back and talk to Kuro, and you’ll be able to pick up the key.
Where to Use the Gun Fort Shrine Key in Sekiro
Next, you’ll need to actually use the key to progress further in the game. From the Castle Dojo Sculptor’s Idol, head down the stairs, then drop all the way down to the very first floor of the castle.
Head towards the back of the castle where you’ll find a room with a chest containing the Sabimaru. Look for another door in this room that takes you to the Old Grave Idol. From the Sculptor’s Idol, turn around and make a right to find a bridge with two soldiers.
Just past the bridge, you’ll enter a small wooded area with a linear path and some monkeys. Keep heading forward and you’ll eventually reach the Sunken Valley, where you can use the Gun Fort Shrine Key to unlock the path towards the Sunken Valley Passage and the Gun Fort itself.
That’s all you need to know about where the Gun Fort Shrine Key location is in Sekiro, and where to use it. Be sure to check our Sekiro guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
