How to Heal in Sea of Thieves

Recommended Videos

As you explore the high seas alone or with some friends in Rare’s Sea of Thieves, you’ll inevitably come across crews of other pirates who will do all they can to attack you and sink your ship. When your ship is attacked, your character could lose some of their health and you’ll need to know how to heal. Here’s what you need to know before you do so.

You can find bananas on the islands you explore in the game and eating them will replenish your health. When you have a piece of food equipped, you can eat it by pressing the right trigger. Eating it will restore your health by 25 per cent. There’s also other kinds of food in the game, including Coconuts, Pineapples, and Pomegranates, each of will restore some of your health. Grog isn’t quite so effective, with drinking it causing your character’s vision to be blurred, and they will begin to stumble significantly as they walk.

That’s all you need to know about how to heal in Sea of Thieves. Praise the lord for bananas and their ability to heal all wounds. For more on Sea of Thieves, check out our extensive wiki guide.
