PUBG on Xbox One has just received another fairly hefty update. Coming in at over 4 GB, the update adds in the ability to play in first-person mode, improves the overall quality of the game experience, and also adds in some handy new options. One of these new options available in PUBG’s latest Xbox One update is the ability to change aim acceleration. For those who know what this is, they’ll understand this is a pretty big deal, especially for those who have been struggling to adjust playing PUBG on a controller if they’ve come from a mouse and keyboard. Here’s what you need to know to change aim acceleration in PUBG on Xbox One, and also what it does.

For those unaware, aim acceleration is essentially how fast your point of view will increase in speed depending on the position of your right thumbstick. Essentially, if you increase your aim acceleration right the way up, the longer you leave your thumbstick all the way in one direction, the faster it’ll spin that way.

In order to change aim acceleration in PUBG on Xbox One, you’ll need to make your way to the Settings. From the main menu, press the Options button. This will bring up the Region menu, but press the Options button again and you’ll reach Settings. Here, at the very bottom, you’ll find Aim Acceleration. Using your left thumbstick, go down all the way through the different options, and then use left and right on the thumbstick to change it. The higher the number, the faster it’ll be. The lower it is, the slower your aim will accelerate over time.

That’s all you need to know to change aim acceleration in PUBG on Xbox One and what it does. For more on the game, be sure to check out our ever-expanding wiki.
