Unique Weapon Badges in PSO2

Phantasy Star Online 2 has so many different types of quests, currencies, items, equipment, missions etc. it’s very hard for new players to keep track of what they and where they can even get them from. Unique weapon badges are a type of exchange currency that you can get while playing but they are quite rare.

You get unique weapon badges in PSO2 usually either from participating in seasonal events, which are, well, seasonal and not around all the time. You can also get them as mission pass rewards, and rarely as rewards and drops.

You’ll want to use them wisely as a result because they can be exchanged for some very rare and high quality gear.

Where to Exchange Memory and Badges

The unique weapons badge(s) exchange NPC in the Shopping Area on the second floor. Take the stairs up to the second level and look for deep red booth. The NPC you’ll want to talk to is Nanon, the Badge & Memory exchange vendor.

Talking to her will allow you to exchange both memories and badges for rare items. At the time of this writing we don’t have a recommendation for what you should pick as we haven’t yet tried any ourselves and what is and isn’t desired will shift and change over time, but in general there’s something for every class there at the shop.

That’s all you need to know about unique weapon badges in PSO2. As we learn more about this system, we’ll be sure to update this post. For more tips, tricks and FAQs answered about PSO2, check out our index of Phantasy Star Online 2 content at Twinfinite.
