How to Get Dusk Form Lycanroc in Pokemon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon

Recommended Videos

Today marks the release of the latest two entries in the Pokemon franchise. Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon see players returning back to the Alola region and following a largely familiar story. These updated versions, however, introduce a number of smaller new features, and some powerful new Pokemon to catch, too. One of the Pokemon everyone’s talking about at the moment is the Dusk Form Lycanroc. You can actually get a Dusk Form Lycanroc in Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, but you’ll have to be fast.

With the games out today, there’s a special Rockruff event that players can jump into via the Mystery Gift option on the menu screen. You’ll need to advance a tiny bit in the adventure before you get this option, but once you do, select the Wi-Fi option and you should get a special Rockruff. Be warned, though, the Rockruff event starts today, Nov. 17, and ends Jan. 10, 2018.

Now that you’ve received the Mystery Gift, load up your game, head to the nearest Pokemon Center and speak to the delivery man inside. With your special Rockruff in your party, all you need to do now is train it up until it evolves at level 25. You’ll now be the proud owner of a Dusk Form Lycanroc, which has a pretty awesome, unique Z-move, too!

That’s all you need to do to get Dusk Form Lycanroc in Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. For more on the games, be sure to check back with Twinfinite.
