Pokemon Sun and Moon: How to Get Quick Claw

This article is over 7 years old and may contain outdated information

Pokemon Sun and Moon allows you to give Pokemon items to hold. These can be incredibly useful during battles, but even more so in player versus player matches. They can really give you the edge, and one such item you will want is Quick Claw.

Quick Claw will occasionally let whatever Pokemon is holding it to move first, giving them the first attack or move above their opponent. This is a big deal in some cases, as it could be fatal for the enemy or a blessing for your Pokemon to get the heck out of the battlefield fast if it needs to. So, yes, it’s smart to nab this if you’re planning on getting a bit competitive. Or even if you just want to wreck some trainers.

You also get this item fairly soon in your adventure. Once you reach the Trainer’s School. Head inside and speak with the tall blonde-haired woman standing next to a TV and seating area on the first floor. She will give you the Quick Claw out of the pure kindness of her heart. Simply equip it onto whoever you want and you will be all set to move first!
