How to Get Pichu – Pokemon GO

Recommended Videos

Pokemon GO has received another update, and as part of this one, players are now able to get their hands on some of the Pokemon from generation II. One of the confirmed Pokemon to be making an appearance in the AR game is Pichu, the baby version of Pikachu.

Unlike many of the other creatures in Pokemon GO, Pichu cannot simply be caught out in the wild. Instead, players will need to cross their fingers and hope that they hatch one from an Egg in the game. If you’re new to Pokemon GO and are unsure on how to get an Egg, simply make your way to a Poke Stop, marked on your map by a Poke Ball symbol. Once here, simply tap on the symbol and then spin the image of the real-life landmark. With a bit of luck, an Egg should fly off and into your inventory. From your Pokemon menu, swipe right to reach your Eggs, and then select one to place into an Incubator.

After walking a specific distance listed for each Egg, it will hatch and you’ll be awarded a random Pokemon. It remains to be seen just how rare Pichu is as of yet, but we’ll be sure to update you as and when we have more information.
