Save Data Bonuses in Persona 5 Royal

If you played the original Persona 5, you can rest assured knowing that you’ll be rewarded for being a loyal fan and player from day one. As long as you have a save file from the original game, you’ll be able to redeem some bonus items in Persona 5 Royal that will give you a nice headstart.

First things first, make sure you actually have a save file from the original game on your PS4. Next, boot up Persona 5 Royal and once you get into the game proper, you should receive a notification informing you that you can now redeem some save data bonuses.

However, the catch is that you’ll need to play through a good chunk of the beginning hours of the game in order to get your rewards. Specifically, you’ll need to get through all of the early story stuff until you get to 4/12, and you’ll be able to examine your room at your own leisure.

To get your save data bonuses in Persona 5 Royal, examine the cardboard box in your room. We’ve included a screenshot down below to indicate exactly where it can be found.

From here, you’ll receive the following rewards:

  • 50,000 yen.
  • Hogyoku Apple x3: Fully restores HP of all allies.
  • Band-Ace x3: Revives one fallen ally to 50% HP.

They don’t seem like much, but these can be invaluable when you’re just getting started in the game. Medicines and healing items are expensive in the early hours, so getting that extra money and a handful of healing items will help immensely in the first dungeon.

That’s all you need to know about how to get your save data bonuses in Persona 5 Royal. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
