How to Get Drop Pod Resources in Outriders

Drop Pod resources are an end-game currency, which means they aren’t something you’ll need to worry about at all until you’ve beaten Outriders main story and begun to run Expeditions. Indeed, they’re the main reward for completing Expeditions.

Expeditions, if you aren’t aware, are a rotating set of different levels found in the ‘Outriders Camp’ area that players can complete at any one time. Each Expedition has a different “Tier,” which denotes its difficulty; the higher the Tier, the more the rewards. Expeditions are also timed, and the faster you complete them the more rewards you’ll get, too.

Don’t worry if you haven’t encountered Expeditions yet since you’ll actually get a tutorial to familiarize yourself when they become relevant.

After you’ve successfully completed your first Expedition, a Drop Pod filled with Drop Pod Resources is earned. This special currency can then be used for entering the Inner Ring, the Final Expedition, or buying higher weapons, items, and resources.

Another way to get Drop Pod resources is to speak to Tiago at the Outriders Camp. He’ll offer the resources in exchange for Titanium. It’s not the fairest trade, but if you need them badly, this is an option.
