The anticipated next game in the Monster Hunter series, Monster Hunter World, is finally out in the wild and fans can once again venture out and hunt huge, fearsome creatures alongside their buddies, friends and companions. Fans will get to explore a stunning open world that’s only made possible because of the power of the current home consoles, the PS4 and the Xbox One. As you take down the various monsters littering these worlds, you’ll have a variety of equipment at your disposal, from 14 different weapon types, to other handy tools such as the grappling hook.

The grappling hook is a pretty useful tool to have at your disposal when hunting monsters, as it allows you to scale climable terrain that little bit faster. In order to use the grappling hook in Monster Hunter World, you’ll want to press X on PS4 or A on Xbox One while climbing. This should result in your character propelling themselves up the climable surface that little bit quicker. A particularly handy tool to have at your disposal when trying to get out of harm’s way during a hunt.
