Mirror’s Edge Catalyst: How to Change Your ECHO

In case you’re sick of the friendly red parkour ghost in Mirror’s Edge Catalyst, the game gives you the option to change the ECHO. To unlock different ECHOs, you’ll have to open up Basic Runner Kits scattered around the safe houses in Glass, which can be obtained by completing certain in-game objectives. For instance, collecting five Documents will unlock a new Runner Kit for you to pick up. These Runner Kits will be marked on your map, and they usually contain customization options for your Runner Tag and ECHO.

To change the appearance of the ghost in Mirror’s Edge Catalyst, simply bring up your map, and then go over to the tab marked ‘Progression.’ Here, you’ll see Faith’s skill tree. Look for the Toggle option at the bottom left corner of the screen, click that, and you’ll get to see your ECHO instead. You’ll also get to see the other color and pattern customization options you’ve unlocked throughout the course of the game, and equip them from here.
