How to Use Bishop in MapleStory M

Recommended Videos

MapleStory M has a total of six playable classes when you start the game: Dark Night, Night Lord, Bow Master, Corsair, and Bishop. While all of these classes are capable of dealing out some serious damage, Bishops can provide the party with some useful healing and status buffs to help turn the tide of battle. If you are a budding Bishop looking for some guidance, here are some tips to help you make your way through MapleStory M.

As a magic wielder, the Bishop tends to use their fair share of MP when casting spells. That being said, you will want to stock up on some potions before heading out. While you do have plenty of access to healing and buffing skills, don’t forget that the Bishop can also deal plenty of damage with your foray of damaging spells. You should generally focus on maxing out your max MP skill early on to gain as much MP as possible.

It’s also a good idea to invest some skills points into Energy Bolt in MapleStory M since the Bishop will be relying heavily on the skill early on in the game. Eventually, the Bishop will unlock some supportive skills (Magic Booster, Invincible, and Bless) which you should max out, especially if you are planning on joining parties. Additionally, you will want to invest in your Heal spell and higher-tier offensive abilities, such as Shining Ray and Holy Arrow, once you unlock them in MapleStory M. Your Teleport ability is also great for fast traveling, so make sure to allocate some skill points for that spell as well.

Bishops are the backbone of any stable party in MapleStory M, and skilled players can easily tip the balance between life and death in any fight. For more tips on MapleStory M, make sure to search for Twinfinite.
