Loop Hero Item Slots Explained

First off, item slots are not to be confused with equipment slots, which are used to equip new gear on your hero during an expedition. Equipment slots are cleared out with each new expedition, but items are permanent, and those are managed back at camp.

That being said, you won’t start out with a ton of item slots at first. You’ll need to upgrade your camp until you’re able to craft and build the Supply Depot, and this will unlock the Supply option on the menu in the right side of the screen.

Click on that, and you’ll see several item slots that you can place items in. Items give you passive buffs that will aid you during an expedition, and these are permanent.

Items can be crafted from the Craft menu when you’re back at camp, and they can also be found randomly as you’re killing enemies during an expedition.

How to Get More Item Slots

Because you start with a very limited number of item slots in Loop Hero, you’ll eventually need to unlock more if you want to make your runs a little easier.

These can be unlocked in several ways:

• By upgrading existing structures in your camp
• By building Mud Huts
• By building the Warehouse

These will increase your total number of item slots in Loop Hero, allowing you to equip even more items at once, which will make your expeditions drastically easier.
